Terms of use
These terms govern access to Ouvance’s invitation-only closed beta. They set out responsible use, data ownership, and the limits of the service during the beta.
Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern Ouvance’s closed beta, a jobsite-management service offered by invitation to Quebec construction companies. By accessing the service, the company and its users accept these terms.
Service access
The beta is invitation-only. Every account is named, linked to a single company, and limited to the role it needs. Access is personal and non-transferable and may be suspended immediately to protect data or comply with the agreed support window.
Responsible use
Users protect their credentials, enable multi-factor authentication, and upload only content they are entitled to process. Any unlawful use, any attempt to compromise the service, and any attempt to access another company’s data are prohibited.
Ownership and data
You retain ownership of your company and jobsite data. Ouvance processes it only to provide the service, in accordance with the Privacy Policy. These terms transfer no intellectual property.
Beta service — no warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of result, accuracy, or availability, and with no service-level commitment (SLA). Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued during the beta. This limitation does not exclude liability for intentional or gross fault under Quebec law.
Pricing and billing
The beta involves no payment, paid trial, renewal, or automatic conversion. Any future commercial activation will require a separate agreement, display of the total price and taxes, and explicit authorization.
Confidentiality
Each party protects the other’s confidential information obtained through the beta and uses it only for the purposes of the service.
Suspension, termination, and data retrieval
A company may request to end its participation. On exit, we identify what can be exported and the format, deactivate and then delete active data and objects, and let residual backups expire on the defined cycle.
Governing law and language
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Quebec, and the courts of Quebec have exclusive jurisdiction. The French version prevails; an English version is provided for convenience.
Effective date
Version 1.0 (beta), effective July 18, 2026. We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes are communicated to participating companies.
