The story behind Ouvance
My path didn’t start with code: a degree in administration, then years in logistics. When I moved into construction — across large and small companies alike — I kept seeing the same problem: information was fragmented. Hours, quotes, payments, payroll, suppliers, and prices lived in separate files, emails, and people’s heads.
There was no single platform to manage teams, jobsites, payments, and costs in one place. So I completed a full-stack development program at Collège de Maisonneuve and started building the tool I wished I’d had in the field.
What began as a way to make my own days easier became Ouvance: a platform built around the reality of Quebec contractors, where the jobsite, the office, and billing finally speak the same language. Ouvance keeps evolving with the people who use it — every feature comes from a real pain point, not a checklist.
